About PartMap
PartMap is a directory of automotive businesses in Nigeria: spare parts dealers, tyre and battery sellers, accessory shops, auto electricians and more. You search, find a business, and contact it directly by phone, WhatsApp or its website.
What PartMap is not
- Not a shop. We don't sell parts, take payments or arrange delivery.
- Not a stock checker. A listing doesn't mean a business has a particular part in stock today.
- Not a guarantee. We don't vouch for prices, quality or whether a part is genuine.
- Not complete. Many businesses aren't listed yet, and coverage varies a lot between places.
- Not affiliated with any market, traders' association or data provider unless we say so.
Where listings come from
Every listing comes from a source we're allowed to use:
- open data published under a licence that permits reuse (with the attribution it requires),
- data we license or receive with written permission,
- information businesses send us themselves, and
- business facts we gather ourselves in line with the law and the rules of the places we gather them.
We record where each listing came from and when. Each business page shows its source, any attribution the source requires, and when the details were last checked. We never invent businesses, phone numbers, ratings or reviews.
What the labels mean
- Source-listed: Imported from a named source. PartMap has not independently checked it.
- Phone-confirmed: We called the listed number and the business confirmed its identity.
- Business-verified: Business details and physical presence checked under our documented process.
- Sponsored: a paid placement, always labelled. Paying never earns a verification label.
- Reported closed: we've been told the business closed. These are hidden from search results.
Before you pay anyone
Confirm the price, availability, condition and authenticity of a part directly with the seller. Inspect parts before paying where you can, and be cautious about paying in advance to someone you haven't met.
Corrections and removals
If something is wrong, or you own a listed business and want it changed or removed, tell us here. We review every report.
